Here, you’ll meet people from every imaginable community. Your fellow students will be interesting, creative and thought provoking. They’ll have different opinions to you and may challenge how you see the world. Through the shared experiences of university life, we seek to ensure that all students can embrace this diverse community and learn as much as possible during their time at ¾«¶«´«Ã½.
We are fully committed to maintaining an equal and inclusive community at ¾«¶«´«Ã½ and in addition to having strong procedures in place to address all forms of inequality such as harassment and gender-based violence, we openly communicate our expectations to all students at the start of their academic journey. Our expected behaviours are set out in the and students are able to access support and advice throughout ‘Share and Support’ platform.
A dedicated member of staff, our Student Casework Manager, leads the University’s work in this area and provides advice and support to students who may be affected by any form of excluding behaviour.
Our Inclusive Community website provides further information about the ways in which we maintain and enhance ¾«¶«´«Ã½â€™s inclusive community including information for specific communities of students and signposts to support and advice.
Welcome to our community and welcome home.
