Guided by Confucius Institute tutors, attendees learned step-by-step techniques to transform simple sheets of paper into intricate symmetrical designs inspired by classic Chinese motifs.
The workshop created a relaxed and welcoming space for students, staff, and people from the local community to explore Chinese artistic traditions while developing their own creative skills. Participants enjoyed experimenting with patterns and learning about the cultural meanings behind this centuries-old craft.
All materials were provided, and participants were delighted to take home their own handmade paper-cut artworks as colourful reminders of the experience.
