Yn 2019 partneriodd Sefydliad Ymchwil Ystadau Cymru 芒 Gardd Fotaneg Treborth Prifysgol 精东传媒 i gyd-oruchwylio interniaeth israddedig i archwilio鈥檙 dystiolaeth ddogfennol yn ymwneud 芒 hanes y safle.
Daeth Jacob Parry, Myfyriwr Hanes, o hyd I sawl cofnod yn Archifau Prifysgol 精东传媒, Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru ac Archifau Gwynedd yn ymwneud 芒 hanes yst芒d Treborth Isaf.
Caniataodd hyn iddo lunio llinell amser o hanes yr yst芒d, gan ymestyn yn 么l i gyfnod ei pherchnogaeth gan y teulu Fletcher yn yr unfed ganrif ar bymtheg. Trosglwyddodd Treborth Isaf i deulu Brynkir trwy briodas yr aeres Fletcher, Catherine Coetmor Fletcher, 芒 William Brynkir yn 1708. Canfodd Jacob gofeb herodrol i Catherine Brynker yn Eglwys Gadeiriol 精东传媒. Merch ac aeres ydoedd i Thomas Fletcher o Dreborth, a gafodd dri mab gyda鈥檌 g诺r, ond a fu farw yn 1723 yn 27 oed.
Ym 1833, prynodd Sarah Bicknell o鈥檙 Penrhyn Arms a Bodlondeb stad Gorphwysfa 鈥榓 thir i鈥檙 gorllewin鈥, gan gynnwys tiroedd yn Nhreborth. Ym 1846, gwerthodd mab Sarah, Henry Bicknell, rywfaint o dir Treborth i Gwmni Rheilffordd Caer a Chaergybi er mwyn cyrraedd Pont Britannia a 鈥楤ritannia Park鈥 Joseph Paxton. Mae catalog gwerthiant o 1867 yn disgrifio鈥檙 Treborth fel:
鈥楢 beautiful estate [that] enjoys and forms part of one of the finest landscapes in the locality, is charmingly diversified with fine grown timber, and commands fine views of the Snowdonian range of mountains, having the Menai Straits with its far famed suspension and Tubular bridges, with Britannia Park immediately at the Northern Boundary; its situation is so central, being close to the Menai Bridge Station on the Chester and Holyhead, and 精东传媒 and Caernarfon railways, that as a residential property it cannot be surpassed in the Principality.鈥
Tua'r amser hwn gwerthwyd y stad i'r g诺r busnes a pherchennog llongau o Langefni, Richard Davies (1818-96), a fu'n gwasanaethu fel AS Rhyddfrydol M么n o 1868-86. Gwerthodd J. R. Davies stad 215 erw Treborth yn 1925, pan gafodd ei farchnata fel stad odd yn cynnig:
鈥楤eautiful and extensive view of the coastline, the bridge, puffin island, Great Orme, and Anglesey. The mansion was built of stone, and is surrounded by mature shrubberies and plantations of ornamental specimen trees. The mansion is approached through massive entrance gates, and is guarded by a most attractive lodge which lies close to the graceful suspension bridge.鈥
Mae Gardd Fotaneg Treborth bellach yn gorchuddio ardal o 18 hectar o hen stad Treborth Isaf ar lannau鈥檙 Fenai ac wedi bod yn eiddo i Brifysgol 精东传媒 ers 1960.
Gan fyfyrio ar yr interniaeth, ysgrifennodd Jacob:
鈥楾his was one of my best experiences at University. I was given a lot of responsibility from day one and felt like I was making a real impact. I was able to meet with important stakeholders, attend meetings, make assets for events, and do my own independent research. It was also just a really amazing place to work and being able to explore the Garden on my breaks was a blessing. I was lucky enough to continue working with Treborth helping to coordinate two of their events after my internship finished. I designed a community consultation survey, ran a stall at events to engage the public with Treborth plans for their Heritage Lottery funding application, and even collaborated with a lecturer from another University to produce a report about the connection between heritage, nature and wellbeing.
